Monday February 9th, 2026 at the Gilmer County Library 1pm-3pm. The class includes the materials and instruction to make a round reed woven Cherokee basket.
Supervised Hive Inspection
Initial site visit and consultation
I will come to your place to help you develop your beekeeping plan. We will spend an hour talking through your specific situation to see if beekeeping is a good fit for you.
Basic Beekeeping Class
This is a three hour class that will include a hive inspection, printed material to take home with you and two 30 minute follow-up phone call options if you have more questions after you go back home.
Jr. Beekeeping Class
This is a 2 hour educational class for up to 10 kids that includes suiting up and actually handling live bees! Or you can opt to just look at a colony in the observation hive if your young ones are not comfortable with all the buzz. We can do 2 back to back classes if your group has more than 10 kids.
