GET TO KNOW ME Hi, I'm Cheryl. I am a certified beekeeper and I can help you get started. Or, I can help your kids learn about bees!!! |
Making the effort to become a conscientious beekeeper is a big step. I don't claim to be an expert but I am a good communicator and listener and take great joy in helping people become confident, successful beekeepers. I remember being so excited I could hardly sleep before my first bees arrived and I love sharing that level of joy with new beeks. Also, if you want to bring your kids over for a mini-class we can do that as well!

Dr. Cheryl Wolfinger (AKA Aunt Cheryl)
Cheryl is a, Georgia Department of Agriculture, certified beekeeper who manages two apiary yards. One at her home where she nurtures young queens, develops splits, produces nucs and establishes captured swarms. The second yard hosts her honey production hives where the boxes are packed and the supers are stacked!! This year, "Aunt Cheryl's Georgia Backyard Bees" produced 650 pounds of honey! That is almost 55 gallons of the golden goodness! The name for the apiary signifies one of Cheryl's greatest joys in life which is investing in, not only her niece and nephew, but many other young people seeking a little auntie's life advice.
